3D-DXA reconstructs DXA hip scans to 3-dimensional images allowing measurement of trabecular and cortical bone parameters. Given the higher image quality of GE Healthcare iDXA than GE Healthcare Prodigy, it could be hypothesized that the reconstruction might differ, thereby affecting 3D-DXA results.
