Recent CDC guidelines for treating systemic anthrax recommend a combination of a Tetracycline (Minocycline or Doxycycline) with Meropenem or a Fluoroquinolone. These recommendations differ from the 2001 or 2014 updates, and in the absence of significant clinical data, rely mainly on animal studies. Herein we present high efficacy of treating late-stage systemic anthrax with Doxycycline as a monotherapy or in combination with Levofloxacin in NHP.

"Similar papers" are the closest papers from that journal in the model's embedding space. They show what the match is built on, but the ranking comes mostly from a classifier over the whole training set, not from these examples alone.
