AimsTo objectively characterize the spatial-velocity dynamics of the QRS-loop in the vectorcardiogram (VCG) of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). MethodsVCG was constructed as space curve from three orthogonal ECG leads of 25 healthy individuals and 50 AMI patients. Spatial-velocity (SV) of the dynamic QRS loop was recorded, along with component attributes such as changing spatial distance (SD) and magnitude. ResultsDecreased SV and SD and altered spatial propagation patterns of ventricular vectors in AMI was recorded, with changes in specific axes based on infarct location. Reduced left-ventricular ejection-fraction indicates systolic dysfunction in AMI. ConclusionAltered spatial propagation patterns of vectors and ventricular dysfunction may be explained by complex interplay between mechanical and electrical factors in AMI. "Similar papers" are the closest papers from that journal in the model's embedding space. They show what the match is built on, but the ranking comes mostly from a classifier over the whole training set, not from these examples alone.
