Cryopreservation, or cryonics, is an experimental procedure that preserves individuals at cryogenic temperatures after legal death in the hope of future revival. Although Switzerland hosts Schengen Areas first dedicated cryopreservation facility, public sentiment toward the practice has remained largely unexamined.
