BackgroundPerianal Crohns disease (PCD) represents one of the most severe and refractory forms of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Constipation and colonic redundancy, particularly type 1 dolichocolon (T1-DC), may increase distal rectosigmoid pressure, and exacerbate perianal pathology.
