The function of zebra stripes has many possible explanations. Some researchers suggested zebra stripes are a form of adaptation to high temperatures, allowing to maintain a lower animal body temperature in hot environment. Sunlight radiation creates a temperature difference between cooler white and hotter black stripes. Hypothesis state there are currents of air formed caused by this temperature difference. This hypothesis is examined using the CFD numerical simulation of zebra surface in ANSYS Fluent to uncover the physical phenomenon.

Matching journals

The top 1 journal accounts for 50% of the predicted probability mass.

"Similar papers" are the closest papers from that journal in the model's embedding space. They show what the match is built on, but the ranking comes mostly from a classifier over the whole training set, not from these examples alone.
