RationaleIdiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a rare, chronic, progressive lung disease with high mortality and few treatment options. Using an additive genetic model, genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have identified multiple risk loci highlighting new genes and pathways of interest.
